1. Overview
This Return and Refund Policy explains the rules applicable to returns, withdrawals from purchase contracts and refunds in connection with products purchased through the veltiara.com webshop.
Consumers purchasing online may be entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable Hungarian and European Union consumer protection laws.
2. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires:
- in the case of a sales contract, 14 days after the day on which you or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the product,
- if multiple products are ordered in one order but delivered separately, 14 days after the day on which the last product is received.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw by e-mail or other written communication before the withdrawal deadline expires.

3. Return of products
If you withdraw from the contract, you must send back or hand over the product without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which you communicated your withdrawal.
The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer, unless otherwise stated by the seller.

4. Refunds
If you validly withdraw from the contract, all payments received from you in connection with the order will be reimbursed, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which the seller is informed of your decision to withdraw.
However, the refund may be withheld until the returned goods have been received, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
Refunds are made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise and provided that you do not incur any fees as a result of the refund.
5. Diminished value of returned goods
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
This means that the product may be inspected in a way similar to what would be possible in a physical store, but excessive use, damage, missing parts or deterioration beyond normal inspection may reduce the refundable amount.
6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the cases provided by law, including in particular:
- products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised,
- sealed products which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery,
- other cases excluded by applicable consumer protection legislation.
If a product falls under a legal exception to the right of withdrawal, this will be indicated on the relevant product page or otherwise during the purchase process.
7. Defective or damaged products
The rules set out in this Return and Refund Policy do not affect your statutory rights in case of defective performance, warranty claims or product defects under applicable law.
